Mariah Carey shared her thoughts on her twins — 13-year-olds Moroccan and Monroe — following in her footsteps and pursuing careers in entertainment.

Mariah Carey’s twins have been performing with her during her Christmas shows, and the “All I Want for Christmas” singer revealed her feelings about her daughter, Monroe, and her son, Moroccan, entering showbiz.

Mariah Carey Reveals Her Feelings About The Twins Performing
According toPEOPLE, Mariah Carey is “happy” that her children like performing. The 55-year-old singer told the outlet that her twins should pursue careers in entertainment if that’s what they want to do.
“I think they’re both very talented and smart, and if they want to pursue having a life as an entertainer, then I think they should,” she said. “It’s a hard kind of life, but they seem to really love performing, so I’m happy for them.”
Carey affectionately refers to her twins as “dem babies” as well as “Roc and Roe,” perTODAY.
The twins appeared with their famous mom as 10-year-olds in her music video for “Fall in Love at Christmas,” and performed with her on stage one year later as she performed at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Twins Give Their Mom Flowers During NC Christmas Show
During a Christmas show performance in Raleigh, North Carolina on Dec. 9, Carey was given a large bouquet of roses from the twins after “All I Want for Christmas” reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Monroe and Moroccan appeared with the flowers after a man came on stage and said, “I don’t mean to interrupt you, but I just want to let y’all know we’re going to give her flowers tonight because we just found out ‘All I Want for Christmas’ is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Make some noise for the queen of Christmas.”
Carey shared the video the following day with the caption, “Last night on stage in Raleigh, North Carolina, I found out that ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ returned to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.”

“I couldn’t have dreamed of a better time or place to celebrate the news than on stage with my amazing fans, my kids and my #Christmastime tour family,” she added. “I love you and am so grateful to you all.”

Mariah Carey Shares Pictures With Santa
On Christmas day, Carey shared a picture of herself posing with the twins and Santa Claus on Instagram with the caption, “Merry Christmas!!!”
The “Emotions” singer wore a velvet red strapless dress paired with a white fuzzy shawl jacket. The twins opted for more casual wear and sported t-shirts, hoodies and pajamas. Santa was dressed per usual as the four posed in front of a Christmas tree and fireplace.
The post also included a shot of Carey posing solo in front of the Christmas tree as well as one with her and Santa posing in front of a sleigh.

Mariah Carey Kicked Off Netflix NFL Christmas Games
Carey kicked off the NFL Christmas Game Day for Netflix on Dec. 25.
The “It’s a Wrap” singer performed pre-recorded performances of “All I Want for Christmas” that were shown before the Baltimore Ravens played the Houston Texans. Carey also kicked off the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Netflix praised Carey while announcing the livestream.
“The holidays are synonymous with twinkling lights, glad tidings, and the emergence of a pop superstar who rings in the season on a high note — and the first few bars of a certain inescapable Christmas tune,” the Netflix statement reads. “It’s only fitting, then, that Mariah Carey will open the show at the first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday live on Netflix on Dec. 25.”
The Singer Was Spotted In Aspen Holding Hands With Mystery Man
According to TMZ, Carey was seen holding hands with an unknown man while strolling through Aspen. The duo was reportedly on their way to have dinner at Catch Steak, a local restaurant.
Carey was dressed in a cream-colored ensemble that included a long, furry coat. The “Hero” singer also wore a cream mini-dress paired with matching knee-high boots.
It’s unclear if the man holding her hand is a romantic interest, family or just a friend.
