After being a hit in 2023 on Prime Video – even becoming the biggest success in the history of the platform for a local Original film in a non-English language – the Against the Senses franchise is back for a second part, available on the service streaming.
Fans can see the continuation of the action-packed, high-drama sensual romance between Noah (Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara) in Against the Grain 2.
In this sequel, already number 1 in the platform's Top Views, their relationship takes a dramatic turn since those around them (from their own family, to their new acquaintances and to people from the past) will do everything to separate them.
The two lovebirds no longer understand each other and are no longer able to move forward together, as both have different projects and trajectories until a painful end for their relationship. So, what next for Noah and Nick?
The third film “Against Sense” is already ready!
If you were wondering, know that a third “Against Sense” film is well planned and is even already ready! Actress Nicole Wallace explained to AlloCiné that“[ils avaient] shot the second and third films back to back”.

“The third film is my favorite”she confides, “The whole aesthetic of the film is very different from the first two and there are a lot of different locations. The story is a little more emotionally and dramatically mature. There is also a time jump, which I find relevant , and you will be able to see the evolution of Nick and Noah.”
It was a real challenge for the actress who compared the experience with that of a television series, in which jumps in time or developments are more practical to implement than in a film: “Being able to not only do an arc in each movie, but also from the first to the third and being able to see that the character has really grown, it's a lot of fun and enjoyable part of that experience.”
The first information on “Against Sens 3”
The third film is titled Against the Sense 3 (Culpa Nuestra in the original version) and it adapts the third book of the literary trilogy of the same name by Mercedes Ron, from which the film franchise developed and directed by Domingo González is based.
For the moment, Prime Video has not yet revealed the first images or an official synopsis of this third film, but we can refer to the novel to get a first idea of the events of this last part:
“How far are Nick and Noah willing to go? Their relationship is hitting its worst moment, and it seems like nothing can ever be the same again. They're going to have to go through a lot to finally understand if they're really meant to be for each other or if, on the contrary, being separated is what really suits them. But can we forget such strong love?
As for the casting, we imagine that the main cast will be back. Thus, we should find Marta Hazas and Iván Sánchez in the roles of Rafaella and William, their parents, but also Victor Varona, who plays Lion, and Eva Ruiz, who plays Jenna.
Furthermore, the new faces of the second part should also be part of the gang, such as Goya Toledo (Veneno) in the role of Anabel, Gabriela Andrada (Heirs of the Earth) in the role of Sofía, Álex Béjar (Élite ) as Briar, Javier Morgade (Desaparecidos) as Michael, and Felipe Londoño (Entrevías) as Luca.
