He was born on August 8, 1971 in Chambéry (Savoie) and is a French political figure affiliated with the Union for French Democracy (UDF), then the Democratic Movement (MoDem). His commitment is mainly anchored in his native region and in centrism.

His rise began in 1998 when he became general councilor of Savoie for the canton of La Ravoire, a mandate he held until 2010. At the same time, he was elected mayor of La Ravoire in 2001, a position he retained until 'in 2017, accumulating several re-elections.

At the regional level, Patrick Mignola became vice-president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in 2016 under Laurent Wauquiez, where he is responsible for transport. His national career took a turning point in 2017 when he was elected deputy for the 4th constituency of Savoie. From 2018, he will chair the MoDem group in the National Assembly, a role he will retain until the end of his mandate in 2022.

In addition to his political mandates, Patrick Mignola also managed a family business before its liquidation in 2019. Since leaving the National Assembly, he has invested in private activities, notably by joining a recruitment consultancy firm in 2023.

Patrick Mignola remains an influential figure in French centrism, with a career combining local, regional and national responsibilities.
