Presentation of the Letters of Credence of HE Mrs. Valérie BRUELL-MELCHIOR to HE the Co-Prince Episcopal of Andorra © DR
On 29 November 2024, HE Ms. Valérie BRUELL-MELCHIOR, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco, presented her letters of credence to HE Mgr Joan-Enric VIVES I SICILIA, Archbishop, Bishop of Urgell and Coprince of Andorra.
The ceremony took place in the Throne Room of the Episcopal Palace, Seat of the Coprince, in Seu d’Urgell, in the presence of HE Ms. Imma TOR FAUS, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra and HE Josep Maria MAURI PRIOR, Personal Representative of the Co-Prince.
At the end of this presentation, there was an interview between HE Mgr Joan-Enric VIVES I SICILIA and HE Mrs Valérie BRUELL-MELCHIOR, during which HE the Co-Prince Episcopal transmitted his personal greetings to LL.AA.SS. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene as well as his affectionate regards to LL.AA.SS. Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
This meeting was also an opportunity to recall the deep ties that unite the two Principalities, both through friendship and the sharing of their values. The two countries also maintain close collaboration, in accordance with the spirit of the General Cooperation Memorandum, signed in 2022.
