The Euroleague match between Paris Basketball and Fenerbahçe, scheduled for this Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m., is postponed. The capital club is the victim of an epidemic in its ranks.
Fenerbahçe players are already preparing to fly again. While Paris Basketball was due to host the Turkish club this Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m., as part of the 17th day of the Euroleague, the meeting has been postponed to a later date.
The Parisian club, currently second in the Euroleague (11 wins-5 losses) behind Monaco, is notably the victim of an epidemic in its ranks. “Despite all efforts to organize this meeting, unforeseen circumstances, linked to injuries and unavailability, do not allow the club to have a full squad to ensure the meeting in optimal conditions,” indicates Paris Basketball in his press release.
“The tickets remain valid for the new date which will be communicated to you later,” specifies the club. “The club is working closely with the relevant authorities to set a new date for this EuroLeague Matchday 17 clash.”
TJ Shorts ill and absent during the last game
On Tuesday, the leader and top scorer of Paris Basketball, TJ Shorts, had to withdraw from the clash against Real Madrid. Without him, Tiago Splitter’s men lost 96-85. The epidemic therefore probably spread within the Parisian locker room.
