The storm Dorothea has given way to the haze in the archipelago. The Government of the Canary Islands, through the General Directorate of Emergencies, has declared a pre-alert situation due to haze on all the islands.

The suspended dust is already affecting Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. In the next few hours it will move from east to west.

According to the autonomous government statement, this episode could reduce visibility to less than three kilometers and “generate health problems for people with chronic and respiratory diseases.”

The haze will have a greater presence in the south of the islands.
