As expected, Carry-On has taken the lead in the most viewed programs currently on Netflix in France and the rest of the world.
This highly entertaining action film follows a young air security agent who must face blackmail from a mysterious passenger who threatens to smuggle a dangerous package onto a plane on Christmas Eve… Flirting on the nostalgia of part of the spectators for the 80s/90s, the film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra was relatively well received by subscribers.

For several years, Netflix has offered its subscribers an end-of-year film or blockbuster. After the space opera Rebel Moon last year and the whodunit Knives Out 2 previously, it's Carry On's turn to take this slot. And for this, the platform relied on Taron Egerton, an actor who has just joined its team. But what seems to have particularly pleased here is the association of the Christmas film / the action film – a mixture which already worked wonders on Crystal Trap.
And even if it is pure entertainment, the teams have given themselves the means to make their plot credible, by calling on real TSA agents (airport security) and filming in a real airport…
