The “Touche pas à mon poste” teams are navigating through troubled waters. Since Arcom's official announcement excluding C8 and NRJ 12 from DTT from February 28, 2025, uncertainty reigns over their future. If Cyril Hanouna strives to reassure his audience and his collaborators, behind the scenes, the atmosphere is much less optimistic.
“We all know that we shouldn’t believe everything Cyril says, who tells lies from morning to night”
“Most of us are convinced that we will be unemployed in March“, anonymously confides a member of the team to the “Parisien”. This concern is accompanied by a distrust of the promises of the star host, known for his spectacular declarations. “We all know that we shouldn't believe everything Cyril says, who tells lies from morning to night on this subject.“, adds a collaborator, reinforcing the climate of anxiety within the H2O production company.
With a petition gathering more than a million signatures for the maintenance of C8, Cyril Hanouna is also mobilizing his audience. But for his colleagues, the situation remains precarious. While the host promises an upcoming rebirth on another platform or channel, his teams fear a completely different scenario: that of the definitive cessation of the show.

“No one tells us anything”
In recent weeks, the host has assured several times on air that C8's flagship program will not disappear. “On February 28, we will stop 'TPMP'… for a weekend, to resume on March 3. We are trying to find out where“, he declared during the program “La tribu de Baba”. According to him, discussions are underway”with the big bosses“. But for the 18 employees of H2O, no certainty: “Nobody tells us anything.”deplores one of them.
After the confirmation of the exclusion of C8 from TNT, Cyril Hanouna decided to stop his weekend version “Face à Hanouna”, to concentrate resources on “TPMP”. “On va tracer sec”he announced, promising “surprises” to his team and to the viewers. A speech which is not enough to allay doubts internally, where some wonder: a bluff or a real recovery plan?
At the same time, Canal+ is preparing its IPO and a social plan for 250 positions. A strategic context which further fuels uncertainties about the future of the show's team. Maxime Saada, chairman of the board of directors of Canal+, reaffirmed his support for Cyril Hanouna despite the upheaval. “Cyril Hanouna is a partner, an ally from the start. C8 stops, and the question is: how to write the sequel now?“, he declared in an interview with “Figaro”. While he recognizes that no project has yet been finalized, he assured that he wanted “continue the story with” the host and producer.
