Paris Saint-Germain, solid leader of L1 with seven points ahead, regained confidence offensively, thanks in particular to Désiré Doué, by beating (3-1), Sunday December 15, Olympique Lyonnais, stopped in its good launched.

A rare event this season, or at least for many weeks, Paris started strong, having already scored two goals before the first quarter of an hour of play. For the third, it was necessary to wait until the 88e minute, Gonçalo Ramos being at the start and conclusion of the action five minutes after coming into play.

Unable to score in the Champions League before their match in Salzburg on Tuesday, where they scored three goals – and increasingly struggling to do so in Ligue 1 against (0-0) and against (1- 1) -, the Parisians seem to have succeeded in breaking through in a packed Parc des Princes and without supporters, banned from traveling.

Offensive click

The offensive spark came largely from Désiré Doué, very strong and very close to scoring a superb goal – refused for offside (52e) – concluding a good quick transition movement. He had already made a very good start in Austria this week (an assist, a goal) and seems to be making good progress.

It was the former Rennais, the most active, who was at the origin of the first goal by entering the area before serving Ousmane Dembélé, neglected by the OL defense.

On the bench against Nantes and Auxerre following his expulsion against Bayern Munich, and while his relationship was strained with Luis Enrique, Dembélé, positioned in the center, scored his sixth goal of the season. a cross shot, showing unusual composure for him (1-0, 8e).

In the process, six minutes later, thanks to a good overflow from Nuno Mendes, Désiré Doué obtained a penalty – transformed by Vitinha (2-0, 14e) – using his body well to provoke a foul from OL captain Corentin Tolisso.

Rarely so effective, Paris even almost led 3-0, but Lee Kang-in, lined up in place of former Lyonnais Bradley Barcola, missed his control and a goal ball (16e).

The expected shock against OL, in great form since these last matches, thanks in particular to a brilliant Rayan Cherki, had not really happened until then as Paris was so dominant and impactful. But, as is often the case, when it manages to be effective, PSG falls asleep in defense, which on Sunday was made up of Willian Pacho and Lucas Beraldo, replacing Marquinhos, left to rest for an hour.

Short interruption after insulting chants

Helped by the less high and intensive pressing of the Parisians, Lyon, which has not lost any of its last six trips in L1, took the opportunity to reduce the score, with new inspiration from Rayan Cherki.

After a number in the area, in the middle of three Parisians, he slipped the ball towards Georges Mikautadze, who beat Donnarumma with a dive (2-1, 40e). The Italian goalkeeper then got angry on his own against the Georgian, who had upset him a little by taking the ball back into his net.

In the process, Jordan Veretout was very close to equalizing (43e) but the Italian was vigilant, Achraf Hakimi having miscalculated a header.

The second period, less pleasant than the first, was marked by insulting chants sung against the Lyonnais by part of the Auteuil stand. The speaker had to speak, while a message was displayed on the big screen, and Achraf Hakimi, captain before Marquinhos' entry, had to go to the foot of the CUP to ask that the chants stop.
