During the debrief, Marine, candidate of the Star Academyexpressed her disappointment at the lack of freedom she enjoys during bonuses.
The bonus of December 13 was placed under the sign of the professors of the Star Academy. Several students performed after being coached during the week preceding the bonus. Charles tried his hand at lyrical singing by taking up Caruso by Luciano Pavarotti and Lucio Dalla. Franck moved the theater teacher by performing Don't leave me by Jacques Brel, while Ebony once again dazzled the audience by putting on a show during a sung and dance performance alongside Christophe Licata. Marguerite, Ulysse, Maïa and Marine were in the hot seat. These last two candidates performed as a duo Eternal Flame, with intensity and emotion. The four nominees then resumed Die on stage by Dalida. Maïa was eliminated at the end of the show.
Star Academy : Marine frustrated during bonuses, she confides in Marlène Schaff
Demanding, Marine expressed her dissatisfaction by discussing her latest performances. “I'm bored, I've been bored with my bonuses for three weeks.”she asserted during the debrief on December 15. “Why do you say that ?”, Marlène Schaff asked him. “First of all, I don’t know why I don’t sing in tune and my performances aren’t crazy”she replied. The stage expression teacher assured her that she was not singing out of tune, then explained to her that she was losing musicality when she had been varying the volume of her voice for several weeks.
Star Academy : Marlène Schaff reframes Marine
Shortly after explaining to Marine the points on which she had to work, Marlène Schaff put her finger on the young singer's blockages. “I think, since you've talked about it so many times, you're trying to show that you can exist without throwing your voice around. Am I wrong?” she asked, what Marine confirmed. “You must not be in this defeatism. Don’t beat yourself up for nothing“. Marine then confided that she had the impression of having lost her bearings in singing. “But it’s normal, you do exercises that you’ve never done before”Marlène Schaff assured him. In tears, Marine added: “I feel like I'm frustrated because I'm not showing what I want to show. Since I've been here, I've done what's asked of me, not what I want“. The teacher then reassured the young woman. “When we sing loudly, no, we don't shout”, she told him.
