Former VRT presenter Sven Pichal was sentenced on Monday in the case surrounding the possession and distribution of images of sexual abuse of minors. He hopes not to have to go to prison again. His lawyer, Walter Damen, asked the criminal court in mid-November to impose a fully deferred sentence, linked to conditions. The Public Prosecution Service requests 37 months and agrees to a partial postponement if Pichal undergoes residential treatment.
It new chairman duo of Groen may become known.
