The French ambassador to Algiers, Stéphane Romatet, was summoned by the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf. This is the information that all Algerian media, including the very official El Moudjahidbroadcast this Sunday, December 15.
According to these media, the Algerian authorities expressed their “strong discontent» and their “consternation“, denouncing the “hostility that has become recurring and deliberate» of France towards Algeria.
The Algerian MAE even brandished barely veiled threats against Paris by declaring to Stéphane Romatet that Algeria “will no longer accept the practices and acts of blackmail emanating from the French authorities and the circles which collaborate with them, in particular the lobbies and the factions of the extreme right», as the Algerian newspaper writes Al Khabarwho adds that “Algeria’s patience has its limits and its end. Algeria fully reserves the right to respond if these actions persist”, qualified as “unfriendly gestures» and “hostile acts».

«Last summons!», “A severe warning from Algiers» to France, «Algeria warns Paris: patience has limits», successively titled L’Expression, El Moudjahid et Al Khabarwho did not fail to compete in superlatives to glorify the Algerian intelligence services, accredited with having foiled the plan fomented by the French DGSE.
Indeed, the summons of the French ambassador to Algiers comes following the broadcast, a week earlier, by Algerian public television (ENTV) and the new public continuous news channel (AL24) alleged confessions from the man who was presented as a former Daesh terrorist, who would have trained in Syria and Iraq.
Mohamed Amine Aissaoui, named after this 35-year-old terrorist, thus stated, in this piece entitled “Failure of the plot, the eagles of Algeria victorious!», that he was contacted in 2022 by ARTEMIS, a French association fighting radicalization, which put him in touch with a French diplomat based in Algiers, and who would be an agent of the General Directorate of Foreign Intelligence French (DGSE).
Aissaoui thus affirmed that this DGSE agent asked him, among other things, to “form a terrorist group with his ex-fellow inmates in Algiers» in sight «to organize attacks» on Algerian soil. The Algiers regime therefore accuses France of recruiting terrorists with a view to carrying out attacks in Algeria! You have to rub your eyes ten times to believe it!

The “confessions” of the repentant terrorist come in the wake of the fall of the regime of Bashar Al-Assad in Syria, which had the consequence of accentuating the international isolation of the Algerian regime, more than ever panicked by a fate similar to that of its Syrian ally.
In fact, the hysteria of the Algerian regime and the outrages against France have a single objective: to force the executive in France to react and therefore to speak with the Algerian authorities who are visibly ulcerated by the indifference of the leaders French to the tribulations of the gerontes who govern Algeria. This hysteria and the far-fetched accusations against France also aim to ward off a fate similar to that of Bashar’s Syria. The Algiers regime is obsessively panicked by the fate of Bashar-Al-Assad’s Syria.
