The questions to the finalists are a dreaded, but essential stage of the Miss France election.
For the five candidates still in the running, this is a moment that can be double-edged.
This year, one of them was particularly confused by a question and her “hilarious” reaction marked viewers.

Miss France 2025: Miss Martinique, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, crowned
This Saturday, December 14, Angélique Angarni-Filipon was crowned Miss France 2025 at the end of an evening rich in emotion. The thirty-year-old with short hair, representative of Martinique, succeeds Ève Gilles. But before being crowned beauty queen, Miss Martinique and the four other Misses who were then still in the running had to undergo the dreaded exercise of asking questions to Internet users. The principle of this test is simple: each regional candidate has the right to a question read by the former Misses. And Miss Corsica was particularly disconcerted by hers.

The dismay of Miss Corsica
Faced with Miss Martinique, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Miss Guadeloupe and Miss Côte d'Azur, Miss Corsica therefore had to answer a question that she did not expect, causing one of the striking sequences of the evening. Read by Micheline Beaurain, Miss France 1970, the statement was as follows: “As Miss France, how would you use your voice to raise awareness among the French to the challenges linked to climate change ?”
A question that destabilized Stella Vangioni, who remained speechless for a few moments. If Miss France 1970 gave the public apologetic looks, Jean-Pierre Foucault was amused by this situation, believing that “the question is appreciated by the audience“Miss Corsica tried to give herself time, laughing, mouth wide open and eyes wide, before coming back to her senses and blurting out with a touch of irony: “Good evening, thank you for this question !”
“We only have one planet. Let’s preserve it”
After a few seconds of hesitation, but encouraged by the sustained applause of the audience present in the Futuroscope Arena, the 28-year-old young woman finally gave her answer: “You know, like many things in life, I think it all starts with education. It is through education that we can raise awareness among younger generations about this subject which is so important, because we only have one planet. Let's preserve it”she declares before ending with a cryptic “we are not alone!“
The humor and freshness of the young woman did not help her win the sash since she finished second runner-up, behind Sabah Aïb, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais. If Miss Corsica did not win the crown of Miss France 2025, on the other hand, she won the prize for the best sequence of the ceremony in the hearts of Internet users.
