As part of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, the European Union organized, on Saturday December 7, 2024 at the Pantaabo Cultural Center in Saaba, a film screening followed by a panel. The activity was attended by the president of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Saaba.
The short film “Terminus” by young director Salimata Ouédraogo was presented to the public. At the end of the screening, three resource people took their places for the panel: a representative of the Association of Women Lawyers of Burkina Faso Afj/bf, a gendarme and an agent from the social action service of the Town Hall of the commune of Saaba.
The discussions took place in the national Moore language. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions about the treatment of violence against women.
