Every year, he appears on the air live on TF1 to call on viewers to vote for their favorite candidate. But the rest of the time, the host has a busy schedule.

Some keen observers also spotted him, hat on his head, in an advertisement for the Lindt chocolate maker which was regularly shown on television. “I have had a contract with this brand around the world for quite a few years even if the film in which I appeared is no longer broadcasthe explains. During the Miss France election, these images systematically resurface and offer a funny assimilation. It must be said that when people look on the Internet to find out what I do the rest of the year, they come across this ad, the rest of my activities going rather unnoticed. »
Model, actor, journalist, media training specialist…
Fortunately for him, Thierry Baumann doesn't only work for Miss France and Lindt, like someone who takes out formalin twice a year! Model, actor, journalist or media training specialist, he rather has a very busy life apart from his very rare television appearances. “Besides the actor's hat (he notably played in Household scenes et Joséphine, guardian angel )these are rather shadow professions, he notes. I write biographies for artists and I train some in public speaking. I like to go from shadow to light and vice versa. I do lots of satellite jobs but they all have a common thread: music. I am an author, composer and performer. Singing is more than a passion for me, it is part of my life. »
In 2024, Thierry Baumann planned to release a musical tale for young and old. “It’s a project of the heart and it may be a surprise for everyone who only sees me once a year. I hope to make known what is closest to me. Miss France is just one side of who I am.”he concludes.
