Oliver Pocher ignores Christmas wish lists: he surprises his children with them for the holiday

Christmas is just around the corner – and anyone who has children knows that the expected blessing of gifts can turn into a parental horror scenario. But not with Oliver Pocher. The comedian now has to worry about five children. Three of them come from her marriage to Alessandra Meyer-Wölden, 41, the two youngest offspring from the recently failed relationship with Amira Aly, 32.

In short: Every year before the festive holidays, the 46-year-old has to reckon with long wish lists that would drive less hard-core people crazy. But he simply ignores the content, as he now reveals in an interview with RTL. “If you ask children, it only has something to do with the Apple Store or some gift cards or something like that, they’re not very innovative,” he complains. That’s why Oliver has created his own gift tradition. “To be honest, I try to give the children experiences,” he reveals. This year, the kids are going skiing. Not a bad alternative to cell phones and the like.

Painful secret! Howard Carpendale had to undergo surgery

Howard Carpendale, 78, had already spoken to the “Bild” newspaper in October about a “sports injury”. Now it comes out: The pop singer had to have hip surgery. The procedure only became public through the now published documentary by his son Wayne Carpendale, 47, “Through My Eyes.”

In an interview with the tabloid, the presenter explains about his father: “The audience experiences him as privately as I know him.” And adds: “My cameraman Clemens Bittner and I were there everywhere. Even when Dad was in the clinic in late summer of this year.” With this, Wayne reveals his father’s big – and admittedly somewhat unpleasant – surprise: he never made his hip operation public.

Little is known about the reasons for the operation, “Bild” only states that the musician had the operation “because he could no longer walk.” The 78-year-old is now feeling better again. When asked about the operation, he explains with a smile: “The right leg needs to be given more strength. But I no longer have any pain.”

On Thursday evening, the season finale of the ZDF hit series “Die Bergretter” flickered across the TV screens. Sebastian Ströbel, 47, plays the role of Markus Kofler. In the last episode there is a conversation between Markus and Alex Winkler (played by Viktoria Ngotsé) in which she explains to him that she cannot imagine a future with him. In the midst of the pain of a separation, Markus seeks the advice of his (platonic) girlfriend Nina (played by Josephin Busch, 38) – but she only leaves him a letter.

“By the time you read this, I’ll already be gone,” says the small document that Markus finds. Nina continues: “You were always there for me and gave me back my laughter. […] I have the feeling that I’ll help you the most now if I leave…” Markus’ friend and former roommate doesn’t explain why she decided to say goodbye without saying a word.

Does this mean that “The Mountain Rescuers” fans have to say goodbye to Busch and her role? “Bunte” asked ZDF. It was announced there: “The development of the material is not yet sufficiently advanced to be able to say exactly whether and how the character Nina will continue”…

Presumably even the eldest daughter of Victoria, 50, and David Beckham, 49, has now outgrown the age at which children still believe in Santa Claus and similar stories. Amira Aly celebrates emotional farewell to “Prominent”

After almost three years it’s over: Amira Aly, 32, hosted the TV magazine “Prominent” for the last time on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Before she appeared in front of the camera for VOX, Oliver Pocher’s ex-wife, 46, revealed to her fans on Instagram how she feels. “I’m so happy to see my colleagues. But I think it will also be very emotional – at least from my side,” she said into the cell phone camera, still without make-up. It was only last week that Aly’s departure from her job as presenter at the end of the year became public.
