Julie Gayet, who stars in the TV film The mysteries of the tide broadcast this Saturday, December 14, 2024 on France 3 from 9:05 p.m., always spins the perfect love alongside François Hollande. The opportunity to take an interest in this couple (recently seen at the reopening of Notre-Dame), in particular in this superb sale which they completed in December 2022, after two years of negotiations. This concerns their house in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The two lovebirds gave it up for 3.3 million euros. A real feat according to a negotiator from the Barnes Panthéon agency, Véronique Dejean: “This price (more than €16,000/m2) is a street record. It caused the value to explode. Since then, everyone wants to sell at this price.”
If the couple was able to obtain such added value, it is thanks to the location, but above all to the impeccable condition of the residence. In fact, they undertook work before selling their house. “They broke everything inside […]. They even installed an elevator and brought tall trees into the garden. An almost perfect house except for one detail: the sound of the wind tunnel of the Montsouris Mutual Institute which is just behind.”, explained a resident of the neighborhood to The Parisian. This residence, with a living area of 200 m2 and a garden of 70 m2was purchased by Julie Gayet for 2 million euros in July 2019.
Julie Gayet and François Hollande between Corrèze and Var
On the other hand, at least according to the latest news, they are still enjoying their house in Corrèze, located on the heights of Tulle. A property “acquired four years ago” by the former President of the Republic, according to La Tribune Sunday (edition of August 25, 2024). A choice that makes sense, when we know his affection for the region (he was elected deputy for the Tulle constituency for the first time in 1988). This summer, it is within this “19th century building” that he celebrated his 70th birthday on August 12.
Among the 80 people invited: Benjamin Biolay, “friend of the couple“. But plenty of other personalities of course, such as the France Inter comedian Sophia Aram, or his former comrades from the ENA like Jean-Pierre Jouyet, “wedding witness and former secretary general of the Élysée“. The latter was accompanied by his wife Brigitte Taittinger. Moreover, François Hollande and Julie Gayet are so close to the Jouyets that they do not hesitate every summer to visit them, at their home, in “a pretty house at the foot of the Maures massif“, in the bay of Cavalaire, at the southern entrance to the Saint-Tropez peninsula (more precisely in the village of La Croix-Valmer).
In any case, this is what Soizic Quéméner and François Aubel, authors of the book, revealed Julie Gayet, an intermittent worker at the Elyséepublished in 2016 by Editions du Moment.
