The second season of PFL Europe is set to close out on Saturday night in Lyon where the promotion will look to host another great night in front of the French fans.
Alongside several other showcase bouts, the four all important season finals will take place to crown new welterweight, lightweight, bantamweight and women’s flyweight champions.
This year’s championships feature the likes of Lewis McGrillen who will look to end 2024 in remarkable circumstances after stepping into the semi-finals as a replacement and stopping Dean Garnett in a fight of the year contender.
The only major change that has been made to these match-ups in the lead up to the final is the withdrawal of Shanelle Dyer who will be replaced by her semi-final opponent, Valentina Scatizzi.
At the weigh-ins on Friday, each fighter hit the mark meaning that we have a green light for December 14 at the LDLC Arena.
Before the championship bouts get underway, eight French fighters will compete to earn a contract with the promotion with PFL superstar Cédric Doumbé getting the final say.
In the final portion of the night, three more showcase bouts will close out the card with Abdul Abdouraguimov, also known as “Lazy King”, being the last one to make the walk.
