“It would be a real source of pride for us!” The inhabitants of the Pays de Fayence are crossing their fingers. This Saturday evening, Mégane Bertaud, resident of Tourrettes, elected Miss Provence last July, is participating in the Miss France* competition.
The 24-year-old young woman, management assistant in an earthmoving company in Montauroux“has every chance” according to Christine, a resident of Tourrettes who fell under the spell of Mégane Bertaud and her 1m73 height: “For me, she is our Miss France this year. Frankly, she is magnificent. She has a very beautiful smile, beautiful hair and presence. We hope she will be elected. We keep our fingers crossed” says the retiree who assures that she will be in front of TF1 this Saturday evening.
“A beautiful and radiant person” according to Audrey, her colleague and friend
They too will be in front of their small screen: Mégane Bertaud's 40 colleagues. Audrey, a management assistant like Miss Provence, describes a “beautiful and radiant person”. “Mégane is very generous, very sunny, very smiling and always in a good mood. She is truly a very endearing, authentic person and a loyal friend. For me, she has every chance.”
The company which employs Miss Provence authorized the young woman to take a month's vacation to prepare for the Miss France competition : “We have been very open on this issue. Because Mégane has the right to live her dream. It’s open-minded and an incredible experience for her” explains Audrey who concludes “we will adapt if Megane has to be away for longer. In any case, we hope that she will be elected Miss France!”
