It promises to be a pretty gloomy weekend. From time to time, fronts pass over the country with light rain and drizzle. The temperature is on the rise. Tomorrow evening, double digits will already be reached in the west and north.
Today it is cloudy, gray and misty. From the northwest, occasional light rain and drizzle will fall in more and more places. Although there are small amounts of rain, the weather still looks dreary. Later in the afternoon, visibility will improve in the northwest and it will also become dry there. There may even be some clearing visible in the far northwest. The maximum temperature varies from 4 degrees in Limburg to 7 degrees in the southwest. The southwest wind blows moderately and quite strongly along the coast. During the day the wind at the sea turns to the northwest.
Tonight the rain will move southeastwards. There will be some clear spells from the northwest, but there is still a chance of showers. A final shower may fall in the east and southeast tonight. Furthermore, it will remain largely dry with some spells of sunshine. The temperature drops to 5 degrees along the coast and locally to 2 degrees inland. There is a weak to moderate southwest wind blowing. Along the coast the wind is quite strong and comes from the northwest.
Tomorrow the day will start in the east and southeast with an occasional streak of sun. At the same time, it quickly becomes cloudy from the northwest and the gray weather returns. From the northwest, an area with occasional light rain and drizzle will move across the country in a southeasterly direction. The maximum temperature is only reached at the end of the day and varies from 7 degrees in the east to 10 degrees in the north and west. There is a moderate to strong southwesterly wind blowing along the sea.
The following days clouds dominate, with sometimes a streak of sun, and it remains largely dry. There may be some light rain or drizzle on Wednesday, but it will be quite changeable, especially on Thursday and Friday, with significantly more rain. It remains mild for this time of year during this period, with temperatures easily reaching double figures. There will be absolutely no winter weather in the coming week.
