The concert will begin at 21:05.
All donated funds will go to the charity organization Ziedot.lv to provide immediate treatment for people whose lives depend on a “certain and unattainable amount of money”. “High Five!”, as usual, will be broadcast from a special glass studio in Doma Square in Riga from December 13 to 19, playing songs selected for donations from the charity marathon website https://dod.pieci.lv/
“Illness is not chosen, not planned for, it comes suddenly and it doesn’t wait. Treatment should be started immediately, but often a person’s diagnosis is not on the list of procedures reimbursed by the state. And often the sums are so large that families are unable to pay. The charity marathon “High Five!” donations will provide a safety cushion or quick help in situations where immediate treatment is needed but is not covered by public funds. I invite you to donate and contribute to this safety cushion!” Rūta Dimanta, head of the charity organization Ziedot.lv.
