Jury of women, portraits of the candidates… Everything you need to know about the Miss France 2025 election

Miss is, and will remain, Miss…“It was a sentence pronounced by Alain Delon, then president of the jury for the election of Miss France 2011. An elegant declaration which has now become a custom in the announcement of the crowning of the new national beauty queen.

This Saturday evening, at the Futuroscope park in , 30 candidates aged 18 to 34 are competing in the 95th election of the competition which is more than a century old. Who are the Misses? Who are the personalities present on the jury? Overview…

Sylvie Vartan, president of the jury

To be crowned, the regional Miss first had to convince the Miss France committee. A pre-selection, kept secret, was organized the week preceding the show to determine the 12 grand finalists. Then, the candidates, after having spoken, will have to seduce the public but also the members of the jury. And this year, it is 100% feminine.

At the presidency, we find Sylvie Vartan. The singer is notably accompanied by the comedian Nawell Madani, the presenter and fashion queen Cristina Cordula, the choreographer and dancer Fauve Hautot, the athlete and Olympic champion Marie-José Pérec, the concert artist Khatia Buniatishvili and Miss France 2014, Flora Coquerel.

On the Mag / Le Figaro set, Frédéric Gilbert, CEO of the Miss France company, explained this choice, which was “not a decision”. “We contacted men but I think there is a certain restraint in coming to the jury. With everything that has happened, the 'MeToo' movement must have played a role. When we contacted the personalities this year, we realized that we had a lot more immediate feedback from women and after the fifth, we went all the way“.

A surprise for Jean-Pierre Foucault?

As now 30 years ago, the presentation will be provided by our most glamorous Marseillais. Jean-Pierre Foucault, accompanied occasionally by Cindy Fabre, director of Miss France, will unravel the common thread of the show. And according to several indiscretions, a surprise is planned for this occasion at the start of the show…

And among these 30 young women below, one will succeed Eve Gilles.
