Mercato OM: Girona would have asked OM to break the loan of Lopez!

It's a special day for Paul Lopez. The Spanish goalkeeper on loan from OM to Girona is celebrating his 30th birthday. A birthday which takes place in a particular context for him, since Cadana SER has indicated that his club would like to break his loan and send him back to in January.

Not impossible, but complicated

Sold this summer with a purchase option set at 6.5 million euros, López could therefore return to OM, where he played 127 matches in three seasons. Except that OM would have to agree to recover him, and then send him elsewhere still in the same month of January. It's not impossible, but it will require interest in the market. Seeing him play during the second part of the season would limit his loss of value.

Because despite expectations, López has not yet played a match with Girona in La Liga, contenting himself with a small Copa del Rey match, remaining behind Paulo Gazzaniga in the hierarchy of goalkeepers. This situation greatly compromises his future, especially since Girona would like to recruit another goalkeeper according to the latest rumors.
