The 1 p.m. news from France 2 takes you to the Oueil valley in Haute-Garonne, this Friday, December 13.

The 1 p.m. news takes you to the Oueil valley (Haute-Garonne), for a peaceful break, far from the big ski resorts. Behind the guide, the France 2 team is the first to open the path in the fresh snow.
L'Oueil is the source that rocked all the life of this valley at a time when agriculture and its small mills punctuated the daily life of its inhabitants. We can imagine the courage it took for millers at the time to work in a dark and poorly insulated place. This agro-pastoral life seems very distant today.
