Gray and gloomy weather is forecast this weekend in Occitanie and most of France. The Mediterranean regions will be able to benefit from milder weather.
This weekend of December 14 and 15 will be dominated by clouds and humidity in Occitania. Languedoc and Roussillon, and the Pyrenees for part of the weekend, will be sheltered and will see the sun. Forecasts in detail.
Saturday December 14
In the morning, the sky will be cloudy and locally rainy over the northern half of Midi-Pyrénées. The foothills of the Pyrenees will benefit from beautiful clearings. Broad sunshine, without wind, is forecast for the Mediterranean regions. In the afternoon, cloudy and humid weather will continue and progress over part of the Pyrenean massif. Clearings will still be present along the Mediterranean. The expected maximums are 6°C in Rodez; 9°C in Cahors and Castres; 10°C in Toulouse, Montauban, Agen, Albi, Auch, Tarbes, Foix; 11°C in Pau and Carcassonne; 12°C in Narbonne.
Elsewhere in France, a large part of the country will be crossed by an Atlantic disturbance. Over the northern half, gray clouds will be thick giving a few drops and flakes in the mountains above 1000 m altitude. In Corsica, the weather will be unstable. Frosts will be common in the morning in the Center and East of France. The maximums will be between 3°C in Alsace and 14°C in Corsica.
Sunday December 15
Sunday morning, clearings are forecast in Midi-Pyrénées after the dissipation of local morning mists. Scattered rains are forecast over the foothills of the Pyrenees. Clear sunshine is expected in Languedoc and Roussillon with the return of the mistral and the tramontane. This weather will hardly change during the day. Maximum temperatures will drop several degrees: 3°C in Rodez; 7°C in Cahors and Castres; 8°C in Toulouse, Montauban, Agen, Albi, Auch, Carcassonne; 9°C in Foix; 10°C in Tarbes and Narbonne; 11°C in Pau.
Elsewhere in France, a new Atlantic disturbance will cross part of the country. Some scattered rain is forecast north of the Seine. Cold temperatures will persist in eastern regions. Maximum temperatures will range from 3°C in Alsace to 14°C near the Mediterranean.
