In Konthiolathi, Lena Häcki-Gross finished 9th last weekend, but things didn’t go so well for the Engelberger in Hochfilzen. After the first, flawless shooting, she was still on course for the top spot. With 2 errors in the second use with the rifle, she took herself out of the decision. In the end it was enough for 24th place.
Amy Baserga narrowly managed to score points (40th). With Aita Gasparin (47th), Elisa Gasparin (58th) and Susanna Meinen (77th), the other Swiss women remained without an exploit.
Preuss had to wait 2,154 days
Franziska Preuss was crowned winner of the 7.5 km in the Austrian Tyrol. The German relegated Sophie Chauveau (FRA/+7.7 s) and Karoline Offigstad Knotten (NOR/+10.1 s) to the other places.
For the 30-year-old Preuss it was only the second individual World Cup victory. Your first one is dated January 20, 2019, back then in the mass start at home in Ruhpolding. Thanks to the triumph after a dry spell of 2,154 days, she also takes over the yellow jersey of the overall leader.
