Will Vincent Dedienne host Le Maillon weak again after the audience success on M6? He answers!

On the set of Daily this Thursday, December 12, Vincent Dedienne was asked about his television projects and the possibility of him presenting again The Weakest Link.

For one evening, Vincent Dedienne resurrected, last October, one of the most cult game shows of the 2000s. The comedian took the place of Laurence Boccolini to question celebrities and above all send them a few barbs about their general culture sometimes deficient. M6's bet paid off since the show was a hit, bringing together nearly 3 million viewers in front of their small screen and positioning the channel in second place in the evening's audiences. Cyril Hanouna, who did not believe in this project at all, even recognized his mistake and said he was ready to participate if the show came back.

Vincent Dedienne was delighted that the public rediscovered The Weakest Link

Vincent Dedienne was one of the guests of Daily this Thursday, December 12. The actor came to discuss his two plays on display at the Théâtre de l'Atelier from January 23. Yann Barthès teased him about his busy schedule. He especially asked him which game show he would like to relaunch after The Weakest Link. “Maybe Frenchie Shore. I discovered that this week on tour”, he laughed. “The Weakest LinkI was so happy that people were rediscovering this game, because it is evil”, he then clarified. Asked by Julien Bellver about his intention to remake an episode of the show, Vincent Dedienne said he had no intention of doing so. The chronicler insisted heavily on whether he was sure of it. The comedian had in fact denied for the first time that he planned to host the game, before being denied. “Afterwards, there is only the possibility of doing less well“, he said to justify his choice.

What the comedian particularly apprehended with the show

Vincent Dedienne had explained what he feared the most before putting himself in the shoes of Laurence Boccolini. “The fear I had was that I wouldn't take advantage of it. I also feared the reactions of the guests. I didn't meet them before filming, I thought it was going to break something. On set, when I I saw that they were all paralyzed, I said to myself: 'It's good'”, he confided to Tele-Leisure. He also revealed that the former host of the program had given him her blessing to take up the torch.
