The first minutes were spent with both teams trying to establish play. Our team, which made a mistake in the defensive break in the 12th minute, had an important chance with a ball thrown behind the defender. Christensen's shot went just wide of the post. In the 17th minute, in the chaos that occurred in our penalty area, our defense prevented a possible goal by shielding the ball heading towards the goal.
Our team, which could not make plays as it wanted in defensive starts, could not achieve the desired effect in the attack in the first half hour. at 23 Sara threw a pass from the midfield to Batshuayi, who was in the penalty area. Batshuayi controlled the ball to the left of the penalty spot and shot it with his left foot. However, the ball ended up in goalkeeper Persson's lap.
After Larsen's cross from the right line of the penalty area to the goal area, Botheim, who was out of action, headed the ball into the net in the 24th minute: 1-0.
In the 33rd minute, Davinson Sanchez was injured and was replaced by Kerem Demirbay and we became more crowded in the midfield. After this moment, Galatasaray took control of the game and started to be more present in the opponent's goal. Our team made effective attacks, especially with Yunus Akgün from the opponent's left, and again entered the line with short pass organizations on the left side. Elias Jelert hit Kerem Demirbay's cross very elegantly with the inside of his foot, leaving the goalkeeper helpless: 1-1.

We had a chance to score again in extra time. Yunus Akgün drove the ball from the opponent's arc to the left diagonal of the penalty area and shot with his left foot, but the ball narrowly went out near the far post.

While the beginning of the second half started off tempo, as in the first half, we continued to be the side in control of the ball with our pressure in front. We took the lead in the 56th minute with the cooperation of Mertens and Yunus Akgün. Mertens put Yunus Akgün into the penalty area with a great heel pass. Yunus' hard shot went into the net with the intervention of the goalkeeper: 1-2.

Victor Nelsson entered the game instead of Dries Mertens in the 73rd minute. Although Batshuayi scored three minutes later, offside was detected beforehand.
