Guest in The Scorea Nova radio podcast which shared a sequence of the interview on TikTok, the 39-year-old comedian indulged in unfiltered confidences about the legendary member of the Splendid troupe. Baptiste Lecaplain thus recounted how he was shocked from the start even before meeting Christian Clavier for the first day of filming…
“Phone call and it’s Christian Clavier’s coach who calls me (…). Christian knows the script absolutely by heart when he arrives on the set, the lines of his character and everyone. He told me said, ‘You’re going to have a lot of scenes with Christian and Christian hates actors who aren’t precise. It would be nice if we worked together.'”revealed the young actor. “Christian is not easy to get to”
In the process, Baptiste Lecaplain recounted his very first meeting with Christian Clavier on the set. “He pointed at the car and said to me: ‘Don’t you get seasick in the car, Damien?’. He started me on a line from the film. And I said: ‘Well no, I’ I don’t have all the flaws in the world either, Doctor.
