December 31, 2024 is the deadline to request your energy check. As the end of the year approaches, the Calvados Trade Union Confederation of Families (CSF), based in Caen, is launching a reminder: “Don't let this precious aid pass you by. »
Who can have this check?
The energy check is awarded based on reference tax income and the number of people in the household. “For example”, indicates the CSF, “for a single person, the annual income must be less than €11,000 (€16,500 for a couple without children, €19,800 for a couple with one child, etc.) . Up to €277
The amount of the energy check varies between €48 and €277 depending on income and the composition of the household. The lower your income, the higher the amount will be.
A mandatory procedure for new beneficiaries
“Please note”, continues the trade union confederation of families, “since this year, the energy check is no longer awarded automatically. If you are a new beneficiary, you must make your request online. »
Currently, only 3% of potential new beneficiaries have applied, often due to a lack of information.
