Matin
Bad weather is setting in across all Mediterranean regions with rain or showers accompanied by gusts of easterly winds of 50 to 60 km/h. On the sidelines of this disturbed weather, clouds dominate the Pyrenees to the south of the Massif Central. In the northwest, low clouds dominate again. Some clearings are developing between Burgundy, the east of the Paris Basin and the Ardennes while low clouds and sometimes freezing fogs between the Alsace plain and the Val de Saône.
Temperatures are between -2°C in Besançon and 11°C in Nice
Afternoon
The precipitation present near the Mediterranean rises towards the Massif Central, the middle Rhône valley and the south of the Alps with snow from 1000 m altitude. Further north, the sky is cloudy from the north of Auvergne to Lyon while clearings develop over the west of Burgundy, Ile-de-France, Champagne-Ardenne and Hauts-de-France. Clouds still dominate in the northwest.
Temperatures are between 2°C in Strasbourg and 15°C in Ajaccio.
Soirée
Rain from the Mediterranean circulates sparsely over the south-eastern quarter, reaching Lyon and Limagne. In the rest of the country the weather remains calm, cold and dry.
Temperatures at 9 p.m. are between -1°C in Charleville-Mézières and 11°C in Marseille.
Later development :
This weekend, clouds will dominate 3/4 of the country and will sometimes be accompanied by a little rain or a few snowflakes in the mountains. It is in the Mediterranean regions that the sun will most easily succeed in imposing itself, particularly on Sunday with a moderate mistral and tramontane. Temperatures will remain 1 to 2°C below seasonal norms.
