Discover our tops and our flops following LOSC's victory over Sturm Graz (3-2) on Wednesday in C1.
The tops
Osame Sahraoui
Author of his first goal in the LOSC jersey, the young and very recent Moroccan international (23 years old) kept hitting the left side, magnifying this ease with a splendid opening score at the end of the first period. Still in charge of the second goal, he also caused a 0-0 penalty which was strangely refused to the VAR in the second half.
Mitchell Bakker
The Dutch full-back, very offensive as usual, was at the conclusion for this second goal, which also rewarded a very consistent overall performance for him. The former Parisian is an essential piece of the intensity desired by Bruno Génésio, also like Thomas Meunier. But Mitchel Bakker, it’s obvious, was a cut above.
Hakon Haraldsson
A minute after coming into play, the Icelander broke the deadlock in the situation which seemed to be getting more and more bogged down for the Mastiffs. Applied at the entrance to the surface, he proves that he is free of his physical glitches and that he wants to be a player who counts again at the heart of this formidable Lille dynamic.
The flops
Ayyoub Bouaddi
So impressive in his precocity for months, the one who was notably praised against Real Madrid (1-0) is perhaps paying for the lack of concentration inherent in his such a young age (17 years) against an opponent of lesser stature on paper. He is at fault for the two Austrian goals, through his losses of the ball.
Alexsandro
Beyond his missed header from a corner shortly before the hour mark, which could have allowed Lille to quickly regain the advantage, it was above all his feverishness at the hinge on the Austrian goals which did not not reassured. Particularly on the second goal of the visitors' equalizer, even if he is far from being the only one at fault.
Jonathan David
Let's get along well, it's a relative flop. The Canadian striker, supposed to be the offensive leader of LOSC, mainly turned into a passer on Wednesday evening, like his decisive shift on the third goal. However, we continue to expect him as a scorer – and not just from the penalty spot – in this type of match (30th, 61st).
