For its twelfth season, the Star Academy has faced many changes, especially regarding the teaching staff. If Marlène Schaff, coach in previous seasons, was promoted to the position of stage expression teacher, thus replacing Cécile Chaduteau, three new teachers also joined the castle: Sofia Morgavi for singing, Hugues Hamelynck for theater and Ladji Gifted for sports. This Tuesday, December 10, in the columns of Tele-Leisure the successor of Adeline Toniutti spoke about the atmosphere with her colleagues.
Sofia Morgavi says she got along very quickly with the team at Star Academy : “I quickly found my place with the other teachers. The day of the press conference, it matched. I think it was an alchemy that worked.” Today, they are much more than just colleagues but a real family, as she confides to our colleagues: “There is something that unites us, it is the love of teaching and the passion. I don't have a favorite teacher, I get along really well and I like my colleagues. They are no longer colleagues, they are friends. We are creating a family, it’s incredible what has just happened.”

During an interview for TV Star On November 4, Sofia Morgavi revealed that she had been recruited by the Star Academy in a very modern way. The singing teacher did not undergo a casting or was not contacted by telephone but “received a message on[ses] social networks”. “I didn’t believe it,” she said. I even took a screenshot to send to my daughter,” she admits to the magazine. However, the process was quite long and the actress had to wait a long time before getting the definitive answer. “When I found out I had been chosen, I was like a 5-year-old child in front of her Christmas present. What I like about this program is that it combines all my passions,” she confides. A dream come true.
