Entitled “Message for eternity”, the first episode of season 5 by Alexandra Ehle sees our heroine investigate an unlisted mummy which was found in the reserves of the Bordeaux archaeological museum.
The body belongs to François Von Kert, a brilliant archaeologist and president of the University of Letters of Bordeaux, who has been missing for 70 days. By autopsying him, Alexandra, helped by Paolo, a young and charming specialist in mummification, discovers that the technique used by the murderer is clearly that of an expert who knows perfectly the rituals of Egyptian mythology.
From then on, the forensic doctor questions the murderer's motivations: why did you choose such a difficult technique to make the body disappear? Especially since this technique presents a significant risk of leaving traces of DNA… What pushed the killer to such a crazy action?
