– The Christmas bonus appears late on your CAF space.
It is awaited by many households in view of the end-of-year holidays: the Christmas bonus, “exceptional end-of-year assistance”is paid to all people who benefit from social minima, either by France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi), or by the CAF or the MSA. But for the 2.2 million beneficiariesyou will have to be a little more patient this year. As already mentioned Capitalshe will be paid on December 17. Normally, the official date is December 15, but this year, the 15th falls on a Sunday.
In addition, the future payment of the bonus will be visible on your CAF space a little later too, CNews learned. The Family Allowance Fund specifies that “the payment of the Christmas bonus will only be visible on your CAF account a few days before payment, or even the day before December 17, 2024”. As a reminder, you do not have to take any action to receive it: this aid is paid according to the income conditions.

A bonus that cannot be combined with the AAH
Its amount oscillates between 152.45 euros for a single person without children and 535.10 euros for a mother or father with four dependent children. A couple without children will receive 228.68 euros, while a couple with four children will receive 442.11 euros. Note that a bonus of 82.32 euros is granted for each additional child (for a single person) and 60.98 euros for couples. To receive it, you must already be a recipient of the retirement equivalent allowance. (AER)active solidarity income (RSA) or the specific solidarity allowance (ASS). Beneficiaries of the remuneration of trainees from professional training/public internship remuneration (RSFP/RPS), the fixed bonus for resumption of activity and the remuneration of Pôle emploi training (RFPE) can also receive it.
Christmas bonus: bad news for single-parent families
However, the Christmas bonus cannot be combined with the Disabled Adult Allowance (AAH) or the Activity Bonus. All those who do not receive this aid until December 2024 will be paid the exceptional aid only in January 2025.
