rapper Jay-Z accused of raping 13-year-old girl with musician

American hip-hop star Jay-Z is accused of raping a minor with musician P.Diddy in 2000. The victim was only 13 years old at the time of the alleged acts.

According to NBC News, Jay-Z is linked to the scandal of sex trafficking, forced prostitution and kidnapping which affects P. Diddy. The two men allegedly raped a minor in 2000.

The victim, aged 13 at the time of the incident, wished to remain anonymous and uses the name “Jane Doe” in the media. She explains that she suffered the facts while she was invited to a party after the MTV Video Awards, an event rewarding the best music videos of the year.

A federal lawsuit filed against the two rappers was opened in October 2024 and resumed this Sunday, December 8 with the aim of clarifying the presence of Shawn Corey Carter, known by the stage name Jay-Z.

“Adapted to what Diddy was looking for”

The complaint details the events and begins by explaining that the young girl was dropped off by one of her acquaintances at Radio City Music Hall where the Video Music Awards were taking place. She subsequently attempted to approach several limousine drivers to gain access to the event or post-event party. One told her she worked for P. Diddy and that she was a “fit for what Diddy was looking for.” So he invited her to join him later, while he drove P. Diddy and Jay-Z.

After a 20-minute ride, she had to sign a document, a non-disclosure clause, to enter the party. She did not receive a copy. The evening, where many stars were present, was marked by large quantities of cocaine and cannabis.

P. Diddy and Jay-Z were accompanied by another star

She quickly downed a drink which made her very “dizzy, making her feel like she had to lie down.” So she went to a quiet room to rest. P. Diddy and Jay-Z quickly entered the venue, with the former reportedly telling him “you're ready to party!”

Jay-Z then allegedly removed her clothes and kept her lying down. He allegedly raped her in front of P. Diddy and a famous woman whose name has not been revealed. Subsequently, P. Diddy also allegedly raped her in front of Jay-Z. The charge also states that she defended herself from performing oral sex on P. Diddy by punching him in the neck, which caused him to “arrest.”

Following this tragedy, the victim allegedly “took his clothes” and fled. She reportedly went to the nearest gas station and called her father.

Sean Combs, known as P. Diddy, has been the target of numerous complaints for several months for racketeering, sex trafficking (of minors), organized rape and numerous other crimes. He is currently locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn (New York). His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.

In his defense, Jay-Z wrote a letter through his company, Roc Nation. He says in part: “my lawyer received a blackmail attempt from a lawyer named Tony Buzbee. He thought that the scope of these accusations and the public pressure would make me accept his blackmail. Well no, sir, it had the opposite effect! I wanted to expose the fraud that you are in a very public way. I won't give you a cent! These allegations are so heinous that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil complaint. Anyone committing such crimes against a minor should be locked up, who wouldn't agree? These victims would deserve real justice, if that were the case.”

Jay-Z has released a statement saying that the allegations of him raping a 13 year old girl are false and blackmail:
