Happy to find her more beautiful than ever, Pharrell Williams sang the happiness of a resurrection awaited for five years on the front page of televisions around the world, Saturday December 7. In Paris, the public followed the ceremony on a giant screen despite the rain, shared between smiles and tears. A huge thank you was projected on the facade of Notre-Dame in tribute to the 160 firefighters who saved it from the flames, as well as to the 2,000 companions who brought it back to life.

For the cathedral drone, the time has come to sound again. Nine strokes of the crosier preceding the opening of the doors were given by the Archbishop of Paris, formalizing the rebirth of the 12th century cathedral.

The great organ also woke up after five years of silence. Its 8,000 pipes which have lost none of their breath. Outside, for the many Catholics present, the moment was unique. The singer Vianney then covered the song Hallelujah. In the heart of Paris, the night was one of celebration and partying.
