According to forecasts, disrupted weather and snowfall could continue until Monday, December 9. The Pyrénées-Atlantiques department is thus kept on orange snow ice vigilance until today.

According to Météo- records, between Saturday and Sunday, 25 mm of rain fell on the coast, through a succession of showers. 20 to 30 mm were expected overnight from Sunday to Monday. A calm was hoped for this Monday afternoon and the following days, accompanied by a drop in temperatures.

Traffic disrupted

Among the consequences, rail traffic was disrupted. TGVs have been canceled or delayed. RER connections from to and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port have been canceled. Traffic was also tricky on the roads. On Sunday, firefighters were mainly called upon to clear roads on which trees had fallen.

In all cases, firefighters and police intervened to secure the scene and restore traffic as quickly as possible, as in Hasparren and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. In Irissarry, a tree fell on an electrical cable, requiring the intervention of Enedis technicians. In , it was the City's technical services who removed a tree, across Avenue de , during the night from Saturday to Sunday.

Sunday markets, such as that of Quintaou in Anglet, were also closed. Under the effect of the wind, a thick foam also formed on the ocean. It has notably invaded the Grande Plage in Biarritz. In Bayonne, a stained glass window in the Saint-André church fell.
