Since Thursday, has been taking place at the Zenith in Dijon Rue de Colchide, the World triplet and precision pétanque championships which brings together 48 nations including favorite countries (Thailand France, Madagascar) and many underdog teams (Italy, Belgium, Spain, Benin…).
An event where we expect no less 15,000 people for 4 days or approximately 4 000/ jour and which mobilizes approximately 150 volunteers per day. The pitches, 8 in number, are divided into 3 zones: one pitch facing the main stand where the French team plays, two pitches in the center and 8 others facing another stand.
Info-chalon was present alongside the French team for the last frame ofHenri Lacroix in the group stage which gave France the victory with a score of 13 to 1 against Burkina-Faso.
Also present for the 8th finals when the French team squandered the Mali in 28 minutes and in 4 ends (3 to 0, 6 to 0, 10 to 0 and 13 to 0).
Also present for the quarter-finals when the French team imposed its supremacy against the Cambodia 13 to 0 in 1 hour of play and in 7 ends (3 to 0, 4 to 0, 5 to 0, 8 to 0, 10 to 0, 12 to 0 and 13 to 0).
France composed ofHenri Lacroix, Jean Feltain, Dylan Rocher and Philippe Suchaud will therefore qualify for the semi-finals this Sunday, December 8 at 10 a.m. and will be opposed to the Madagascar team.
