France 2 is broadcasting a new episode of “Astrid and Raphaëlle” this Friday evening. Did you know that this new opus had something in common with “HPI”?
This Friday, December 6, France 2 broadcasts episode 6 of season 5 of Astrid and Raphaëlle. Titled “Loup and is-you?”, this new opus sees our two heroines played by Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaeare investigate a mysterious murder which will make them question all their beliefs.
A new victim of the fearsome serial killer nicknamed “the Werewolf” is found under a Parisian bridge on a full moon night. Astrid and Raphaëlle quickly direct their investigation onto the trail of an enigmatic voodoo ritual…
An actor from HPI in the series
Detective fiction is certainly the series that requires the greatest number of supporting roles, with each new episode and each new investigation requiring its share of new protagonists.
It is therefore not uncommon for actors to appear in different series. And this is the case of episode 6 of season 5 of Astrid and Raphaëlle. Fans of the genre will undoubtedly have noticed that the interpreter of Oswaldo Johnson, the major drug trafficker suspected in the case on which Astrid and Raphaëlle are working, has already appeared in HPI.
Doudou Masta indeed played an important role in season 4 of the detective series worn by Audrey Fleurot. He played David Diallo, a suspect in an investigation with whom Morgane spent a torrid night.
The actor also made his comeback in season 5 of HPI, his character being one of the potential fathers of Morgane's baby. It is therefore in a completely different role that he appears in Astrid and Raphaëlle.
A recognized dubbing actor
If Doudou Masta has appeared in numerous films and series, he is also known for using his unique voice for dubbing. He thus dubbed Chef Massaï in Arthur and Les Minimoys as well as Moto-Moto, the flirtatious hippopotamus in Madagascar 2.
In 2008, Doudou Masta also lent his voice to Vin Diesel in the film Babylon AD. But following this experience, the young man preferred to concentrate on his profession as an actor. It was therefore on television that viewers were able to discover his face.
Watch episode 6 of season 5 of Astrid and Raphaëlle this Friday, December 6 from 9:05 p.m. on France 2. The episodes are available in preview on the france.TV platform.
