The Seattle Sounders will face Saint-Germain in Group B of FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Taking place from June 15 – July 13 next year, the inaugural edition of this revamped tournament will bring together 32 of the most iconic teams on the planet. As a host city, all three of Sounders FC’s group stage matches will be played at Lumen Field.

Players to Know:
Gianluigui Donnarumma: At just 25 years old, Donnarumma has long been considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world. The Italian shot-stopper broke into the AC Milan first team when he was 16 years old, and has already played 411 professional matches. On the international stage, Donnarumma was instrumental as Italy won the 2020 UEFA European Championships, where he was named Player of the Tournament. In 2021, he won the Yashin Trophy for the world’s best goalkeeper.
Bradley Barcola: An electric winger with a nose for goal, the 22-year-old winger has already tallied 10 goals and two assists just 13 games into the Ligue 1 season. After bursting onto the scene with , he earned a transfer to PSG in 2023. Barcola has already picked up 11 caps with the France senior national team and is one of the more exciting young talents in Europe.
Marquinhos: One of the most decorated defenders of the last decade, Marquinhos has racked up 95 caps with Brazilian national team. The 2019 and 2021 Copa America winner blends excellent defending with skill on the ball and the ability to play line-breaking passes.
