Brazilian superhero Neymar Junior and his Al-Hilal, together with Pachuca and Salzburg, will be the opponents of Real Madrid, the reigning European champions, in the FIFA Club World Cup. This event will debut with 32 teams next summer in the United States. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid, the other Spanish representative, will face a difficult group that includes Saint-Germain, Botafogo and the Seattle Sounders.

The new format of the tournament will bring together the giants of on American soil from 15 June to 13 July 2025. Boca Juniors will face Bayern Munich, Benfica and Auckland City, while River Plate will face Monterrey, coached by their former player Martin Demichelis, together with Inter Milan and the Japanese Urawa Red Diamonds.
