Invited on France 2, the resigning Minister of Culture Rachida Dati lost her temper with journalist Caroline Roux.
Reappointed as Minister of Culture on September 5, Rachida Dati was once again dismissed from her position on December 5. Indeed, following the adoption of the government's motion of censure on the evening of December 4, Prime Minister Michel Barnier presented his resignation, as well as that of his government to the President of the Republic, on the morning of December 5.
Rachida Dati was received on France 2 to discuss this political event of major importance, shortly after the televised intervention of the French head of state. Rachida Data: “You cannot be a minister and a sectarian”
Defending her work, the former collaborator of Nicolas Sarkozy explained on the set of France 2: “Me at the Ministry of Culture, I pushed through projects, I pushed through a budget. In any case, before it is voted on. I presented my roadmap and discussed with everyone”. The politician then emphasized the fact that it is important to discuss with all the political parties present, the fact that none has a majority in the Assembly, in order to move the projects forward. “I am a minister. I am appointed to speak with everyone. Otherwise, it's bigotry. you cannot be a minister and a sectarian, that does not exist”she said during the show.
