This Thursday, at the call of the inter-union, CGT, CFDT, Unsa, Solidaires, CFE-CGC and FA-FP, civil service agents are called to demonstrate throughout the territory.
At the beginning of the afternoon, a few hundred people began to gather at Place la Libération in Dijon. Among the main demands: opposition to the three-day waiting period, salary increases, lack of recognition, well-being at work… The procession then set off into the streets of Dijon. Around 1,500 people were present according to the CGT and 1,000 according to the police.
“Get involved in working conditions”
“Even before yesterday's events (vote on the motion of censure, Editor's note), we intended to mobilize regarding the working conditions of territorial agents and the public service in general. Our demands remain valid for the next government. » declared Claire Vandroux, general secretary of the CFDT interco 21 union (territorial civil service).
Fabian Clément, departmental co-secretary of the FSU: “Today must be a wake-up call”
« Today is a day for the one who was minister to renounce the three days of waiting, the reduction in compensation for sick leave. Our organizations call on all public sector agents to mobilize to have budgetary resources commensurate with our missions, for job creation wherever necessary, for an increase in the index point and general salary measures. The government has fallen but the economic and social context has not changed. Today should be a wake-up call to show future governments that we are not affecting public services. », declared Fabian Clement in the procession.
-Marie-Pierre, supporting students with disabilities: “We can’t get decent salaries”
“We take care of students with disabilities. There is a lot of work, a lot of children to help and there are not enough of us, we cannot get decent salaries. We feel like we're not being heard and it's very difficult. We had planned this strike for a long time and now is also the time to continue to show that we are here. We hope it won't get any worse. »
