In the episode of Koh-Lanta, The cursed tribe this Tuesday, December 3, Charlotte wins the legendary pole event and chooses to take Thibault to the final with her. During the last council, that of the final jury, the Belgian candidate lost to the Corsican farmer with four votes to seven. The former teammate of the yellow team has five individual victories to her credit, but she is also the third to find a dagger during the orienteering race. A remarkable performance reflecting his journey through the adventure.
Charlotte, finalist of Koh-Lanta, The cursed tribe : “I know that in my life I will create something in the field of youth“
Télé-Leisure: How did your association experience this tribute that you paid to them by offering to pay them part of your winnings in the event of victory?
Charlotte : My colleagues are very proud of me. They tell me that all the time, it really warms my heart. I had already talked about them a lot on social networks, broadcasting lots of videos because I was doing the sand marathon to raise money for them. And so, they already knew that I defended their values.
You also planned to invite your mother to the restaurant and found your own association, where are you with these plans?
For the restaurant with my mom, we did a lot more than expected, we were able to eat our fill! For the association, it's more complicated because I already had a complete life before, but now, I have absolutely no time and I couldn't create a new additional project in my daily routine. I'm waiting to see what it's going to be like when it calms down. I know that in my life I will create something in the field of youth, but I do not yet know how.
Back to the legendary pole test, you remain calm, Ilyesse seems to talk all the time…
Yes ! It's a chatterbox. He was fidgeting. I didn't understand ! On the posts, he talked all the time. It was great. It actually relaxes. It makes you think of something else.
Charlotte (Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Tribe) cash on Ilyesse: “It hurt me”
What hurt you about Ilyesse was his attitude during the orienteering race, the fact that he dissociated himself from you?
What hurt me was that I experienced a supportive, upright, fair Ilyesse throughout the entire season. He really has values. And then, at orientation, he completely disappointed me to change his mind, to tell me not to follow, to follow me himself. I found it rubbish. Really.
Have you explained yourself?
We talked a lot the next day with Ilyesse. We get along very well, as with all the other adventurers. But he knows it very well, it touched and disappointed me. And I've already told him many times: “If you hadn’t done this orientation, you would have been in the final.”
Who are you closest to today?
Sophia and Cécile. Cécile comes to Belgium, and I go to her house. And everyone gets along well around us.
With Sophia, is there still something very strong between you?
I think that with all the people we experience the adventure with, it is strong and it will be strong all our lives. But it's true thatwith Sophia it's special. She was the first person I saw, even before the adventure began, in the hotel, leaving the hotel, on the first transports, I was with her. We created bonds because as women too, we experience things that boys don't experience on the camp. And so obviously, we are getting closer. Sophia, she knows my whole adventure.
