“I sold my body to save my dog”: Loana opens up about the rape she was a victim of

In a filmed interview with Sam Zirah this Monday, December 2, 2024, Loana, highlighted in the series Worshipspoke of the rape of which she was a victim in September 2023 in the Alpes-Maritimes.

A painful passage in his existence. This Monday, December 2, 2024, Sam Zirah shared on his YouTube channel his interview with Loana Petrucciani, the ex-star of Loft Storyreturned to conversations with the arrival of the new series Worship.

During this hour of interview, the 47-year-old public figure spoke about certain aspects of her life, notably her health, her difficult relationship with her daughter Mindy, but also the rape she suffered in Vence ( Alpes-Maritimes), in September 2023, while she was walking her dog. “I was raped too, remember, last year”she said to her host, evoking some pretty awful details of this evening of horror which she remembers as if it were yesterday. On the set of Don't touch my post last February, the forty-year-old had already looked into the identity of her attacker, a man she had already met “five or six times in the evening and with friends”.

“He thought I was going to die in his apartment”

Despite her complicated speech and the fact that she mixed up certain words, Loana remembered all the details of that traumatic night. “I was walking my dog. I was on the Place de Vence, I wasn’t in either”she qualified, judging that this small village in the Alpes-Maritimes is, usually, not the place for sordid news items. Her attacker allegedly threatened her: “If you don’t do this to me, I’ll kill your dog.”she confided, assuring: “I sold my body to save my dog”.

“Do you know what ten hours of no sleep feels like?”she asked Sam Zirah, “A big man of 1m90 who rapes you for ten hours, do you know what that is?”she repeated, visibly still in shock from the sexual violence of which she was a victim. What freed her from this moment of horror was a health concern. “What saved me was that at 10 a.m., I had an attack of spasmophilia. The guy was scared. He thought I was going to die in his apartmentshe admitted, explaining that her rapist would have taken her to a hotel room before leaving her alone. “I had more than 50 bruises, bruises and everything else”she continued. “Do you know what he got? Eight months of probation”she lashed out, admitting the difficulty of rebuilding oneself after such a traumatic attack.
