Works: rue Élie-Fréron closed to traffic

Thursday December 5, 2024, no traffic rue Élie-Fréron in the city center of Quimper (Finistère) due to work. And this, from 9 a.m. in the morning, specifies a municipal decree.

The Town Hall indicates that this project concerns an electrical connection to the Retreat Garden.

Please note that traffic on this street will also be prohibited on Monday December 9 from 9 a.m. For just one day.

Strike and mobilization in the public service

National mobilization day in the public service. In a press release, the inter-union (CGT, CFDT, CFE-CGC, FSU, Sud Solidaires) and several other organizations are calling for a parade departing from the Quimper hospital center from 10:30 a.m. towards Place de la Résistance.

In public schools from Quimper, the movement promises to be fairly sustained. Six schools will be closed. Here is the list of services that will be provided this Thursday:

Conference-debate: Women farmers, what future?

Conference-debate at the Finistère Chamber of Agriculture. The evening is organized by the association Les Jeudis de Quimper. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the broadcast of the documentary by Delphine Prunault, Me, a farmer. The film has already been programmed on the LCP television channel. It can be seen on YouTube:

The evening will continue with an exchange with Anne-Marie Crolais, former national agricultural manager, interviewed in the documentary.
