Which channels are broadcasting the DFB Cup on TV?
A total of three broadcasters will be able to broadcast the DFB Cup: Skydie ARD and that ZDF.

Sky is the only broadcaster to show all games in the competition from the first round to the final live and in the conference without exception. In order to be there, however, you need a Sky subscription.
You can also take out a subscription to WOW, Sky's streaming service. There you can see all games of the DFB Cup 2024/25 in LIVE STREAM.
DFB Cup live on TV: Can you watch games for free?
Yes! As mentioned, ARD and ZDF also have broadcast rights to the DFB Cup and show some games live on free TV.
A total of 15 cup games can be seen live and free of charge on ARD or ZDF in the 2024/25 season. These included, among other things, four first-round games, and in the upcoming round of 16 there are three live games on free TV. Both semi-finals and of course the final in Berlin will also be broadcast live on free TV.

DFB Cup broadcast for free: Which games in the round of 16 will be shown/broadcast live on free TV?
So much in advance: The free-to-air live games in the round of 16 of the 2024/25 DFB Cup are definitely tough! It starts on Tuesday, December 3rd, with the biggest hit: ARD is broadcasting the duel between FC Bayern Munich and the reigning double winner Bayer Leverkusen live and free of charge from the Allianz Arena.
On Wednesday, December 4th, there will even be two cup games live on free TV, both broadcast by ZDF. At 6 p.m. you can watch the second division duel between 1. FC Köln and Hertha BSC on ZDF, and at 8:45 p.m. there's another game between two top Bundesliga teams, RB Leipzig vs. Eintracht Frankfurt.
