The judgment on the fate of the president of the Somme departmental council, Stéphane Haussoulier, concerning events spanning eight years, fell this Tuesday, December 3, at the court.

He was found guilty of fraud, embezzlement, money laundering and breach of trust. He was sentenced to three years in prison, a fine of €30,000 and reimbursement of the sums collected. He is also declared ineligible for a period of three years, but with no immediate effect.
