Bomb alert a Roma. In an anonymous phone call to 112, the presence of a bomb was announced at the court of the city and near the Court of Cassation. The bomb squad immediately arrived on site and worked on the clean-up operations.
The double bomb threat in Rome
The alarm went off on the morning of Tuesday 3 December, around 10am. The site reports it RomaToday.it.
The two courthouses are affected, the court in Piazzale Clodio and the Court of Cassation in Piazza Cavourin the Prati district.

The intervention of the bomb squad
The bomb squad they immediately intervened in both locations, with the carabinieri in court and the police in the Court of Cassation.
Once on site, the technicians began the safety procedures.
At the moment no evacuation was ordered of the offices of the buildings concerned.
The anonymous phone call would have reached the police at the same time as the hearing of the Regeni trial was underway in the Occorsio courtroom in Piazzale Clodio. The sentence on the Rigopiano massacre is expected in the afternoon.
The intervention of the bomb squad in the event of a bomb threat
The state police bomb squad usually operate in pairs, intervening in the event of the presence of explosive material.
The technicians are divided into anti-sabotage e YES (Improvised Explosive Device Disposal). These collaborate with the investigative offices, in order to provide technical support in the event of seizures of dangerous material.
Since 1976, the police has had its own staff of anti-sabotage bomb squads, who deal with neutralizing any devices or intervening immediately after they explode.
